Nori Japanese Grill: A Fresh Take on Japanese Cuisine in Thousand Oaks

I know this is just a little hole-in-the-wall restaurant off of Skyline but my oh my. The Japanese food is so fresh and awesome. Cooked any way you like it mild or spicy spicy spicy! Add or subtract, they were so accommodating. Great service. I never had their Sushi. I am picky about Sushi and have another favorite spot. but this is the place for fresh veggies and wonderful Noodles. Try the Yaki Soba! YUM!

This place is cute. Order inside and then sit down. Just very casual lunch spot with good deals. The $14 bento also included miso soup (which tasted so good). Service is quick!

This family owned sushi and ramen restaurant is one of the best places to get a healthy delicious meal. The bowls and sushi burritos are my favorites.

The salmon nigiri can be a great, easy barometer for any sushi restaurant and it's excellent at Nori: nice texture and rich taste, fair price. But all the food here is outstanding. It's a small restaurant, but comfortable, and tucked in a quiet part of Thousand Oaks. A great spot for lunch and especially between those odd hours between lunch and dinner if you want to avoid crowds. The spicy pork teriyaki is nothing less than superb.

This was my first time. We wanted something fresh with a bit of comfort feel to it. We walked in and the atmosphere was quiet, very classy. There were two parties in front of us when we showed up. The cashier took my order and I went to sit down. They bring the hot food to you and they are very respectful. I loved the environment and the food. My plate had the right amount of flavor and when I asked for hot sauce they brought the whole bottle. I loved the gyoza. They came out hot. Will definitely return.

This place is in the back corner of the shopping center located on the corners of a Thousand Oaks and Skyline next to D'Amores Pizza. The service was ordinary, nothing over-the-top, or overly friendly in anyway, it was just respectful if that makes sense, the food came out fairly quickly. All three dishes were hot and fresh. All three dishes were extremely scrumptious. We shared all of them in between three of us, and we could barely finish it as the portions were large, based on the food and price alone, we would definitely return as the service was just meh.
